Yan Alice Xie, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting and Finance. Professor Xie joined the College of Business faculty in 2003. She received her PhD and Master’s Degree in Finance from Syracuse University and her Bachelor’s in Finance from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Professor Xie teaches corporate finance, derivatives and fixed income securities courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Her research interests include fixed-income securities, risk management, corporate capital structure and earnings management. She has published in journals such as Journal of Financial Research and International Review of Economics and Finance. Professor Xie is a member of American Finance Association and Financial Management Association. |
