Robert P. Steel, Professor, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Prior to joining the College of Business faculty in 2000, Professor Steel taught at Wright State University, the Air Force Institute of Technology, and the University of Evansville. Professor Steel is a member of the Academy of Management, the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and the Southern Management Association. His research and publication interests include turnover, absenteeism, and quality improvement. Professor Steel is an Associate Editor of Human Resource Management Review, and he also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Management. Professor Steel’s publications have appeared in a number of scholarly outlets including the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Sciences, Personnel Psychology, and the Journal of Management. Professor Steel is also a former winner of the Douglas McGregor Memorial Award. |
