Donald F. Rossin, Associate Professor, Department of Management Studies, Operations Management discipline. Professor Rossin received his B.S. from Boston University, his M.B.A. from California State University, Fresno, and his Ph.D. from University of California at Los Angeles. Prior to joining the College of Business, he taught operations management courses at the undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, and doctoral levels at Vanderbilt University. Since joining the College of Business in 1993, he developed and implemented both the undergraduate and graduate supply chain management concentrations. He was actively involved in the online MBA program design and has implemented online versions of all the graduate operations management courses.
Professor Rossin is also actively involved in management education and executive training programs. He has conducted specialized management development programs offered through several major universities with manufacturing organizations, hospitals and banks. He has presented general management programs offered by the Center for Emerging Business Issues at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He was chosen to head up a special internship program with the Ford Co. that involved exposing Russian scientists to American business practices. Professor Rossin’s current research is in new performance measures and models for supply chain management. He has published articles on many supply chain management topics in Management Science, Decision Sciences, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management, Computers and Industrial Engineering, and OMEGA |
