Bruce Bublitz has held numerous academic administrative positions during his career including department chair, graduate program director, associate dean, dean, and associate provost. Among other responsibilities, he has founded a department in accounting and a doctoral program in business. He earned his CPA certificate in Illinois in 1972 and received his Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Illinois in 1982. He has auditing experience at Arthur Andersen and taught at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. His research has been published in such journals as The Accounting Review, The Journal of Accounting Research, Issues in Accounting Education, and Advances in Accounting. His current research interests are centered on the financial issues facing higher education. |
