George Vlachos , Lecturer III, has over fifteen years experience in teaching banking and finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. He served as an economist in the Economic Research Department of the Bank of Greece for ten years and as international economist and Credit Manager with Manufacturers National Bank of Detroit. In 1979, he was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to study in the United States . He has a B.Sc. in Economics and Business from the Athens School of Economics, an M.A. in economics from the State University of New York, and he is a Ph.D. candidate in economics. His research interests are in the area of international banking. He is currently working on a textbook on international banking to be published by Thomson South-Western. |
